Product Description:

Skip-Shift Eliminator, 2010 Camaro/1994-02 Camaro/Firebird/1997-09 Corvette/2004-06 GTO 6-Speed

Decide for yourself what gear you want to be in! Dump that annoying first-to-fourth "skip-shift" GM incorporates into the 6-speed GTO, Camaro, Firebird, and Corvette with SLP's Skip-Shift Eliminator. This PLUG IN piece requires no additional modifications to you vehicle. With it in place you take complete control over gear selection. Isn't that why you got a 6 speed? Plug in installation. Shipped complete with everything you need including easy installation instructions. NOT legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Remember, the light will illuminate as usual, but it will not require a 1st to 4th shift. No more embarrassing slow speed pauses. You can get a cheap resistor and cram it in the connector, but it is a big hassle and it can fail. I did that on a 99 Z28. This is a clean plug-n-play install and much more secure with resistor coated/covered in the wire assembly. Why the 2 previous owners of my 95 Firehawk never did this is bizarre.
