This cover was specifically designed to add support to the bearing caps under severe loads and acceleration, and these girdles substantially strengthen the rear end. They also add fluid capacity, which helps to lower the fluid temperature. Comes with drain and fill plugs for easy maintenance.

Fitment:
Low profile Chevy 12 Bolt Car Rear End Girdle fits all Chevrolet 12 Bolt Car Rears, Includes Canadian Built B.O.P. Cars. Does NOT fit Buick, Olds, Pontiac & Cadillac Fullsize cars with 9-3/8" ring gear. The cross bar is machined down for additional clearance. It has the engraved TA checkered flag logo, and the load bolt lock nuts are recessed into the brace. Ideal for applications that have clearance concerns with trunk pans, pan hard bars or sway bars. Low Profile series covers are approximately 3/4" shorter than standard covers.
