Product Description:
Turn One’s 89-92 Camaro Small Block Serpentine Power Steering Pump Kit will convert your factory serpentine system from using the older Saginaw Type 1 (P Pump) to the newer and more capable Type 2 pump. NOTE: this pump will only work on factory small block standard-rotation serpentine drives, and you will need to change your hydraulic lines to accommodate the different pump pressure and return locations. It will NOT work with small block v-belt drives or those using a reverse-rotation pump. Minor adjustments to bracketry may be required for flush fitment.
The HP1 Series upgrade pump is ideal for car owners that need more power steering performance, especially those that see high RPMs or light race-style driving conditions.
