Product Description:

Camaro/Firebird 93-2002 Bilstein Level II Package Shocks and Struts

These shocks were built to SLP's specifications by Bilstein and are for use in road racing applications. They give excellent control for daily driving and provide a competitive edge on the road course. The shocks are valved to produce a comfortable, yet firm ride on the street. But they also perform like a race shock during road course maneuvers. The ultimate in a non adjustable dual-purpose shock. Includes front and rear.

NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FACTORY STRUTS, YOU WILL NEED TO CALL US AND ORDER A PAIR OF USED FACTORY STYLE SPRING SEATS.

    Excellent Shock Choice

Posted by Dave on 8th Jun 2020

A few years ago I installed Eibach Pro-Kit K Lowering Springs on my stock suspension 2000 Camaro SS. The car only had 35K miles on it so I didn't change the stock "orange" shocks. That was a mistake. The car rode fine for several thousand miles but the ride got progressively worse and I could tell the suspension felt like it was bottoming out on hard bumps. So I purchased the Bilsteins on the recommendation of the folks at Hawks Motorsports. I finished the install over the weekend and what a difference. The car does ride very firm but it feels rock solid and corners just great. I also changed the sway bar end link bushings as well while I was at it. If you don't mind a firm ride, I would highly recommend this shock package.

I cannot say enough good things about these Bilsteins. My '96 Z28 (6 speed) has 100K miles on it. I'd already replaced all the bushings in the suspension (Along with the front control arms, ball joints, etc...) And then I put the Bilsteins on... I was not expecting such a difference. The ride is a bit firmer, and I do hear every bump in the road through the rear suspensions now (I have new bump stops that haven't been installed yet, so hopefully that quiets things down a bit.) Not only does my Z now handle like a much smaller car, but as an added unintended bonus it's quicker. When I shift gears it's no longer wasting energy lifting the front end and squatting the rear with weight transfer.... it just stays flat and goes. It's a totally different car with these on it and they're worth every cent.
