Hawks Motorsports offers our clients fnew replacement Bow Headliner Replacement Rod 5 pc set.for 1970 – 1974 Camaro Firebird / Trans Am.
For use on cars with bow style headliners and cars which have the metal side headliner trim plates. These new replacement headliner bows replace worn GM units. These are produced to spec of GM installed units and hold the material tight and right as it should be left to right on the car.
WHY REPLACE THESE Rods? 50 years have gone by and they simply wear out. The headliners begin to not sit and look right and these bows are the primary reason.
HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE? Replacement of the head;iner bow should be done when instaling a new headliner. That is a highr level repair which is failrly involved.
