Hawks Motorsports offers our clients new left and right headliner trim metal trims for 1970 – 1974 Camaro Firebird / Trans Am.
For use on cars with bow style headliners and cars which have the metal side headliner trim plates. These new replacement trims are correct in fit function and appearance.
WHY REPLACE THESE CLIPS? 50 years have gone my and these side headliner metal trims are prone to show their age, rust, and dings, or simply missing, we have these new and it is a great way to update your cars original appearance.
HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE? Replacement of the upper side headliner trim is pretty straight forward. You will loosen both the front A pillar posts mounting screws and the B pillar sail panel screws. This allows you to flex and move the side headliner trim into place. Once in place you will press in the metal retainer clips while keeping the headliner trim tuck in or over the sail panel mount extensions and the A pillar mount point.
