Hawks Motorsports is proud to help you get your 1970 - 1981 Camaro or Trans Am back in order and looking and working right! This new reproduction spring steel spring puts the proper back tension onto your center console mounted bin lid.
When the GM unit is missing or fail the center console bin lid will not stay opened once you release the release trigger. Instead it flops around like a dying fish and makes life a hassle to get out your insurance cards “Yes Officer!’ This attaches from the center console bin assembly base and connects also to the metal bin lid mounted swing arm. It places tension on the lid as you open it and keeps it open while the lid is in the open and up position.
