Replaces OEM part numbers: GM #9868430 Left Hand & GM #9868431 Right Hand.
This new pair of door frame mounted seals ensures a snug, weatherproof fit your door and the body tub while maintaining a "soft touch" when opening and closing the doors.
WHY REPLACE THIS WEATHER SEAL? When this seal is missing or damaged water can enter the internal door frame or cabin area causing rust in the floor pans and door bottoms. issues with the door panel and carpet. Wind noise, improper latching of the door and premature wear of door striker, and door hinge bushing may also occur.
HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE? This is a little more in depth as the door panel will need to be removed for the end caps to be installed onto the door frame. If you are comfortable in the door panel removal and install process you’ll have no issues.
