Tired of looking in your car and looking at damaged chalky or worse missing upper rear sail panels? We feel your pain! A fter 50 years these plastic panel deteriorate and simply need replaced. This is an easy task to do at home in just an hour. These unis produced by OER are correct for 1974 Camaro and Firebird Trans Am models with Solid NON bow style Headliners. With correct mounting points and proper grain texture these units come molded in black and really bring your interior back to life!
This pair has the opening for the sail panel coat hook transition plate found on 74 models only.
WHY REPLACE THE SAIL PANELS? After 50 years factory units fall parts and become chalky. They will crumble as you remove them. Replacing them is easy! Make your early second generation f-body look like new again in an hour or two at home.
HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE? Replacement of the sail panels is cake work. You will loosen the side headliner trims, and the rear headliner trim. Then simply unscrew the sail panel mounting points from the car. Wiggle the old one past the side headliner and rear headliner trim and up and out it goes! Install is simple reverse the process!
