When installed this provides a weatherproof fit between the hood and core support area providing 2 way protection for your car.
WHY REPLACE THIS WEATHER SEAL? When this seal is damaged or missing additional air us able to enter the engine by allow dirt and dust to build up near the A/C compressor. In addition to this, the hood and core support do not seal creating wind noise and also vibration on the hood at the latch.
