Product Description:
The 1979 Trans Am 10th Anniversary has become known as that. In fact it was actually the 1979 Daytona 500 Official Pace Car! Yes the first nationally televised Daytona 500 which ended as a heavy weight brawl with the Alabama Gang (Donny and Bobby Allison Brothers) and Cale Yarborough fist fighting in Turn 4 as the race ended. America which was crippled by a Blizzard in the Northeast that day, watched and NASCAR s place in America heart was secured. Leading the Pack that day was the Pontiac Silver Anniversary, the Trans AM Daytona 500 Pace Car!
So why did the TATA's which fetch some of the highest resale vales not all have door decals?
Simple answer, GM has issues with getting the supply of the decals from its vendor. Dealerships when they did arrive did not want to install and, and in the end most owners got them in a tube in the trunk, if they got them at all. Embellish the rear untold story on your TATA and Hawks Motorsports is here to help you do just that.
