1981 may have been the last year of the second generation body Trans Am, but General Motors saved the best for last. Pacing the 1981 Daytona 500 NASCAR season kick off on America's biggest stage was one of the most beautiful and desired Trans Am ever produced. The body a stark white, the decals and secondary body colors a stark black. Inside however Blood red would adorn the Recaro SST seats, lower door panels, and carpet, making this Trans Am one of the most desired T/A's ever produced. Production numbers stated at 2000 units later could not be prover to be higher then just over 800.
Hawks Motorsports works with Phoenix Graphix to produce this base full decal kit. It includes all of the standard base decals which are GM authorized and also also includes a roll of the correct pin stripe to recreate the many pin stripes that were laid to the body by GM. A exploded diagram is also included to assist you in the proper design and placement on the decals and pin striping.
