1985-1990 Firebird Formula Lower Front Air Dam – Replaces GM 10118485
This reproduction 1985-1990 Firebird Formula Lower Air Dam is designed to restore proper airflow to your cooling system while keeping your Formula looking factory-correct. Mounted to the bottom of the front bumper, this one-piece air dam directs air up to the radiator to help maintain engine temperatures.
Unlike the GTA/Trans Am versions, the Formula air dam is shorter in height and was unique to this model. This replacement matches the original GM part number 10118485 and is manufactured to fit just like the factory piece.
Because the Formula was offered with two different lower bumper styles, some trimming may be required. If your car came with stripes along the bottom and a smooth, painted lower bumper panel, you’ll need to trim the air dam to fit. For Formulas with no stripes and the textured lower bumper panel, the air dam installs without trimming. To make installation easy, a molded-in line/template is included on the part so you’ll know exactly where to cut if needed.
