Product Description:

This is the 82-92 Camaro "Sunoco" Style hood, extended cowl width and has approximately 2-1/2"-3" clearance. This hood has been designed around a Throttle Body Injected/ Carbureted engine but can be used with TPI and LT1/LSx conversions.

It is gel coated and ready to be fitted, finish sanded, primed and painted. Ships truck freight. Freight shipping is not included.

Please note all after market hoods are designed and molded to fit cars that have not endured damage at any point. However these hoods can be adjusted along with other body panel to fit correctly but you may need to adjust fenders or front bumpers to install properly.

Please make sure to always test fit before final prime & paint. Altering and/or painting products automatically voids warranty.

Mean looking hood

I'm finally rebuilding my 1991 Camaro RS. I saw this hood several years ago and knew that I wanted to get it someday. I got the hood and it looks awesome on the car. Fits perfect right out of the box. Excellent quality, couldn't be happier about my choice.

Sunoco Hood is great value

Restoration/paint people said that hood had really great fit right out of the box. High praises for strength and inner bracing. placement for hood release mechanism, spring, hinge area reinforcement, etc. Hood needs a little sanding/fairing/filling to get lines absolutely straight to fenders and nose piece, but very do-able. They said it was one of the best fiberglass hood designs, and EVERYONE loves the subtle yet racey lines. Classy! Not to mention Hawks was extremely helpful. Cons... trucking company not trustworthy not to damage in shipping. INSPECT THE HOOD BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR DELIVERY. Box may look undamaged, but not necessarily. Inspect the merchandise.
