93-2002 Camaro / Firebird BAER Deep Stage SS4+ Front Brake System

This system features the S4 4-piston caliper mounted to a 11" 2 piece slot, drill, zinc plated rotor. Quality bearings used, along with NAS high grade stainless hardware for our 2-piece rotor. The SS4+ is designed just like Baer's larger systems, but in a smaller package for 15" wheels. This is the first drag race system designed specifically for heavy, fast cars that might see street use. Rotors are vented, and calipers have dust seals. Hubs come with ARP 1/2"x20 race studs.

Drag Race systems come standard in Clear and Fire Red caliper colors.

Does not include spindles. This system will require spindle modifications, see instructions for details (link below)

NOTE: This system comes equipped with a high friction pad that is optimized for drag race applications. These pads often produce more dust and noise.

  • Rotor Size/Type: 2-piece (directionally vented)
  • Piston Count: 4 Piston 1.75" Pistons
  • Pad Type: Common 4 piston pad shared on the aftermarket (#DR1 or Hawks #HB100) NOTE: This system comes with high friction pad optimized for drag race applictions.
  • Minimum Wheel Size: 15" (Use template to verify fitment, link below)
  • Includes: Quality bearings, ARP Studs, Billet Dust caps, -3AN fittings with copper crush washers (no hoses). Does not include spindles.
  • Notes: Designed to be used with 98-02 F-Body spindles and hubs (spindles and hubs not included). This system can be used on the 93-97, but will require a 98-02 spindle to work. May require hub to be turned down to 5.75" for the rotor to fit,

Which Remaster should you used?

  • 15/16" Bore - Smaller bore size master will increase pressure and decrease volume. This will have a slighly longer pedal, but will generate more pressure so requires less pedal effort to stop.
  • 1" Bore - Larger bore, so more volume less pressure. A slightly firmer pedal, with slighly more effort than the 15/16".
  • 1-1/8" Bore - Drag race applications with dual rear calipers should use a 1 1/8" Bore Remaster
  • Port Configuration is based off Drivers seat position. LP - Left port (Fender side), RP- Right Port (Motor Side)
  • Most all applications will use LP exit. Fox Mustangs (1979-1993) will use RP due to shock tower clearance
