Product Description:

The QA1 Level 2 Handling Kit for 1982-2003 Chevy S10 pickups delivers a balanced, full-vehicle suspension upgrade engineered to work together from front to rear. Designed for street performance enthusiasts, this kit improves handling response, steering feel, and ride quality while achieving a clean, lowered stance.

QA1 assembled this system as a complete solution. Every component was hand selected to complement the others, giving you predictable performance, proper geometry, and an easier path to a well-sorted truck.

PERFORMANCE & STANCE YOU CAN FEEL
Capable of a 2-4” drop up front and up to a 5” drop in the rear, this Level 2 kit delivers a clean, lowered stance. Up front, 18-way double adjustable QA1 coil-over shocks allow you to fine-tune ride quality while maintaining confident control through corners. Tubular upper and lower control arms improve suspension geometry and strength, helping the truck feel more planted and responsive on the street.

Forged drop spindles correct steering geometry at lowered ride heights, reducing bump steer and maintaining proper alignment throughout suspension travel. A QA1 fat front sway bar further improves handling control, delivering flatter cornering and improved stability during spirited driving.

Out back, lowering rear leaf springs were chosen for the right spring rate and unique reverse spring eye design. The front spring mount is optimized for improved anti-squat characteristics, giving you more control over how the truck plants power to the ground, especially when launching or cornering.

BOLT-IN CONVENIENCE, NO GUESSWORK
This QA1 Handling Kit is designed as a direct-fit, bolt-on solution for 1982–2003 S10 pickups. Components are selected and validated to work together, eliminating the trial-and-error.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’s)
How does this Level 1 drag kit improve launches?
The lighter front spring rate allows the front suspension to store and release energy on launch, helping transfer weight to the rear tires for improved traction and more consistent starts.

How do I improve 60-foot times on a Chevy S10?
Improving 60-foot times starts with suspension setup. A drag-focused shock and spring combination allows the front end to rise and transfer weight rearward, increasing rear tire bite at launch.

Are double adjustable shocks worth it for drag racing?
Yes. Double adjustable shocks let you independently tune compression and rebound, which is critical for controlling front-end rise, settle, and consistency between passes.

Is this kit suitable for street driving?
Yes. This kit is designed for street-strip builds and maintains street-friendly drivability while improving straight-line performance.

Does this kit require welding or fabrication?
No. This is a bolt-on kit that installs using factory mounting locations.
