Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 140494 2012-2015 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 6.2L V8 S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System, T-304 Stainless Steel, Borla. This complete cat-back system is built for the fifth-generation Camaro and brings a more aggressive exhaust note, improved flow, and a serious stainless-steel setup to the 6.2L V8.
This is the kind of exhaust you put on a ZL1 when you want the LSA to sound as nasty as it looks. The S-Type mufflers give the 6.2L a deeper, more aggressive tone when you get into the throttle, while the 2.75-inch tubing and merge X-pipe keep the exhaust moving. Open up that supercharged V8 and this system gives it the attitude to match.
The system is built from T-304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing and features dual 4-inch polished stainless steel tips with a rolled, angle-cut design. It uses a dual split-rear exit and includes the front pipe elbows, X-pipe, intermediate pipes, muffler assemblies, and clamps.
Part 140494 is listed for 2012-2015 Camaro ZL1, SS, and 1LE 6.2L V8 coupes equipped with the factory-style dual-mode/NPP exhaust configuration. The Borla system does not include the NPP valves, so the existing valves must be retained or otherwise addressed during installation. This system is not recommended for convertible models.
