Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients this 1978-1981 Camaro Firebird Trans Am Fisher T-Top Body Grommet Set GM 2006676. These factory-style replacement body grommets install in the roof opening and provide the proper locating surface for the Fisher T-Top glass panels. Over time, the original rubber grommets can become brittle, compressed, cracked, or completely deteriorate, allowing excessive movement of the roof panels that may contribute to rattles, wind noise, improper alignment, and water leaks.
Manufactured to duplicate the original GM design, these replacement grommets help restore the proper positioning and support of the removable T-Top glass panels while maintaining the factory fit and operation of the Fisher T-Top system. Replacing worn body grommets is an inexpensive yet highly recommended step when restoring or servicing the T-Top assembly and should be performed whenever weatherstrips, roof hardware, or glass panels are being replaced or adjusted.
