1986-1991 Camaro/Firebird Rear Hatch Motor Nylon Guides

Per Klowny1969 instructions for this fix on my rear hatch motor guides, I ordered from HawksMotorsports. Exactly as ordered and my first repair on this 1987 Iroc went smoothly. FYi - worked perfectly first time but next time I opened rear hatch, the motor stayed in “down” position. Found another site that mentioned to just hit a switch which made the mechanism rise and all was perfect. Apparently, the motor can sometimes get stuck in down position….. Works like a charm now…..

Easy to install once you get the motor assembly out. Better that the originals!

These guides for the hatch latch worked perfectly. The instructions where complete and easy to follow. They were not some vague pictures leaving you guessing the whole way. The thing I love most is, these were made in the USA! No China crap!

Org nylon gone. Ordered these and it was a perfect fit. Even with covid my order arrived in a couple of days . Thanks guys glad to have my hatch working again

The hatch guides came in great shape. They fit very snug, but will work themselves in better, after they're used a bit. The bushing that came with it was just a piece of cut PVC pipe, and was a lil loose, so I just used my old bushing because it was still good. All in all, it is a great replacement, and my trunk works again!!

Fitment was snug and ran smoothly through the metal channels. The material of the guides was a tough plastic of excellent quality.
