Perfect fit, worked for short throw upgrade.

Posted by Alexander Kovach on 22nd Jun 2018

So, my old boot tore when I was installing a 5.0 pro short throw shifter. This new reproduction has great stretch to it and was a great replacement for my damaged one. The bolt hole patters was spot on! Very much worth the low cost for the brand new part. Very happy!

    High Quality

Posted by John Fried on 11th Jan 2013

This is a high quality replacement part which fit my 1987 Camaro IROC Z28 perfectly. It is a perfect match for my original lower boot which was split and was allowing a lot of heat into the cabin. Installation was not difficult but took some time. Remove the shifter ball, the e-brake grip, and the plastic shift plated. Remove the screws holding the upper console in place. Disconnect the window switch plugs and hatch plug and remove the upper console. Remove the screws holding the lower console in place but I did not have to remove it. remove the 7 screws holding the old boot and slide the new boot in place and reverse the steps above.
