This used original GM roof-mounted overhead console is intended for compatible 1984-1987 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models originally equipped with the applicable overhead-console option.

The factory console mounts along the center of the interior roof and was offered under GM Regular Production Option DK6. Separate housings were manufactured for T-top and hardtop vehicles, and the two configurations do not interchange.

Factory DK6 Overhead Console

The DK6 console is a distinctive third-generation F-Body interior component positioned along the center of the roof and headliner. A used original console can replace a missing or damaged factory unit while retaining original GM construction and appearance.

T-Top and Hardtop Configurations

The T-top console has a flatter profile designed for the center roof structure between the removable panels. The hardtop version has a more rounded contour for a fixed-roof coupe. These housings do not interchange.

Used OEM Condition

This is an original used GM interior component, not a new or reproduced console. Normal used-part conditions may include scratches, scuffs, fading, discoloration, storage residue, worn material, repaired plastic, damaged attachment areas or incomplete wiring. Condition and completeness vary by unit.

Electrical Components

Any included lights, buttons, contacts or wiring may require cleaning, inspection, repair or replacement. Electrical operation is not guaranteed unless Hawks Motorsports specifically confirms that the individual unit has been tested.

1. Confirm whether the vehicle has a T-top or hardtop roof.
2. Verify that the selected console matches the roof configuration.
3. Disconnect the vehicle battery before working with interior electrical connections.
4. Compare the used console with the vehicle's original component and roof contour.
5. Inspect the housing and attachment areas for cracks, wear or previous repairs.
6. Inventory and inspect every included light, lens, button, wheel and electrical component.
