Product Description:
Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients this 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro HID Headlamp Bulb Access Cover Used OEM GM. GM part number 16530873 is the access cover used on the rear of the HID headlamp assembly, helping protect the internal headlamp components from the elements. GM catalogs the part for 2010-2013 Camaro HID applications and 2014-2015 Camaro ZL1 HID applications.
Missing the little cover on the back of the headlight? Yeah, that tiny piece has a job. It keeps the back of the lamp sealed up instead of leaving the bulb area exposed to whatever the road throws at it. If yours disappeared during a bulb swap, got cracked, or never made it back onto the car, this is the OEM piece you need to button the headlamp back up.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES AND EXCLUSIONS
- Do not advertise this as fitting every 2010-2015 Camaro.
- 2010-2013 fitment requires the HID headlamp option.
- For 2014-2015, GM catalogs 16530873 specifically with the ZL1 HID headlamp configuration.
- This is the bulb access cover only, not the complete headlamp assembly.
- It is not the HID bulb, ballast, socket, or headlamp housing.
- Verify the shape, mounting features and part number against the original cover before ordering.
- Some GM catalogs show the same 16530873 cover on both left and right headlamp diagrams, so it should not be marketed as permanently side-specific without confirming the physical part.
INSTALLATION NOTES
- Remove the existing headlamp access cover according to the applicable headlamp service procedure.
- Compare the replacement cover with the original before installation.
- Inspect the sealing/mating surface for dirt or damage.
- Make sure the cover is properly seated and secured after installation.
- Do not operate the HID system with the headlamp assembly improperly sealed.
- If replacing the cover during an HID bulb service, allow the lighting system and bulb components to cool before beginning work.
