AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION UPGRADE KIT
The SST A41 4L60E is designed to upgrade classic GM B-O-P A-Body vehicles while retaining automatic transmission operation. This kit replaces older transmissions with modern electronic control, improved shift quality, and overdrive performance.

Designed for 1968-1972 GM B-O-P A-Body applications, this A41 4L60E Automatic Conversion Kit fits Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac platforms including Cutlass, Skylark, GS, 442, GTO, Tempest, and LeMans models.
The A41 4L60E is an excellent replacement for older automatic transmissions including the 904, 727, 518, Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 200R4, and 700R4. The modern 4-speed overdrive design provides improved acceleration, lower cruising RPM, and approximately 30% reduction in highway engine speed.
The A41 4L60E features a 3.06, 1.63, 1.00, and 0.70 gear ratio combination and is available in multiple torque capacity configurations.
AVAILABLE STAGES:
- Stage 1 - Rated for 450 lb-ft torque
- Stage 2 - Rated for 550 lb-ft torque
- Stage 3 - Rated for 650 lb-ft torque
The PerfectFit™ kit includes the required components for installation including the A41 automatic transmission, COMPUSHIFT Sport controller, bellhousing, lockup torque converter, driveshaft, wiring harness, speedometer connection, crossmember components, isolator mount, and installation hardware.
