The F15240 1970–1973 Firebird / Trans Am front Endura-style nose cone is a fiberglass conversion replacement panel designed to restore the iconic early second-generation Pontiac front-end appearance while reducing weight compared to the original GM bumper assembly.
From the factory, the 1970–1973 Firebird/Trans Am nose used a heavy bumper structure with a formed Endura/urethane-style outer covering. This F15240 reproduction is different: it is made from heavy-duty fiberglass and does not include the original-style steel backing, making it best suited as a cosmetic restoration or lightweight replacement panel rather than a factory-impact bumper assembly.
At Hawks Motorsports, we recommend this panel for builders replacing a cracked, damaged, deteriorated, or missing original nose who understand the nature of fiberglass body components. Proper test fitting, surface prep, alignment, and finishing will be required before paint.
