When & Why replace the window guides and sash mount assemblies?
As the decades go by the window crank on your Camaro Firebird/Trans Am tend to wear out, break or strip. This result is the side windows not rolling up or down. No worries! Install new replacement window cranks in a jiffy at home!
HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE?
The install is an easy one, once the old window crank is removed, this replacement comes with the C clip already in place. Your simply lay it into place onto the window regulator and push it firmly into place until you feel the retainer C-clip pop into place.
(TECH TIP) Prior to install roll the window all the way up and set your window crank into the desired placement (horizontal or vertical) if replacing both or match to the opposite side you are not replacing.
