Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1970–1981 Camaro, Firebird, and Trans Am driver side rear seat floor pan patch for repairing the RH rear seat floor pan section directly below the rear passenger side seat cushion. This panel is designed specifically for the rear seat pan area and does not repair the rear footwell section where passengers place their feet.
If you remove the driver side lower rear seat bun and that area of metal is rusted and rotted including the brace which holds the lower seat bun in place, this is the section of metal you'll need!
This stamped steel repair panel is made to replace rusted, damaged, thin, or previously repaired metal in the driver side rear seat floor area of second-generation F-body models. The panel comes with a black EDP coating to help protect the steel during storage, shipping, and installation preparation. This is a smart repair option when the complete floor pan does not need replacement and the damage is isolated to the driver side rear seat floor section.
Fits 1970–1981 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, and Trans Am models. Welding, trimming, test fitting, and normal bodywork preparation are required for proper installation.
