Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1970–1981 Camaro, Firebird, and Trans Am metal floor pan drain plug, GN110281, designed to replace missing, rusted, or damaged factory-style floor pan plugs. This is a stamped steel plug, not a rubber plug, and features the slip-tab style design shown in the product image.
This metal floor pan plug installs into the factory floor pan opening and is commonly used during floor pan or trunk pan restoration, rust repair, or full floor replacement. These plugs are often missing after years of previous repairs, media blasting, undercoating removal, or floor pan replacement. Properly reinstalling these plugs helps close the factory access/drain opening and restores a more original-style floor pan appearance.
For best results, test fit the plug before final installation. Seam sealer should be used around the plug during installation to help seal the floor pan from moisture, fumes, debris, and road noise.
