Product Description:
Hawks Motorsports offers our clients new replacement rear hood adjuster bolt kits. Sold as a pair. These are true GM authorized reproductions and correct replacements and not cheap China knock offs. Your car has these and the rear of the hood rests on them. If you look at yours you’ll see the rubber bumper is missing, or more often than not someone has stuffed a bolt from a coffee can in it’s place.
Why replace these?
After decades the rubber bumpers rot and fall off, the flat head adjuster strips and they well simply rust.
How hard is it?
Replacing these are cake. Unbolt the cowl screws reach in with the nut on a wrench and feed the new bolt down. Tighten at desired position and job done. Replace the cowl screen and good as gold.

Accurate reproduction. Hardened bolts and jamb nuts with rubber bumpers provide adjustment for rear hood height and act as a safety catch for hood hinges in the event of a hard frontend crash.
