After decades the inner rubber inner can decay or work loose. After years they tend to chip or break. When you open your door this is the first thing you see, why not make it look like new again with GM authorized reproductions!
How hard is it?
Replacing these are cake. One screw holds it to the door jamb. Unscrew that and pull upward and outward then replace the new unit.
