Product Description:

Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1970-1981 Camaro Lower Dash Panel Trim Assembly with Radio, Glove Box and Air Vent Openings OER - 6264754 for restoring the lower dashboard area on second generation Camaro models.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
* 1970-1971 Models did not have the opening for the fasten seat belt warming lamp. (Unit mounts fine but that is different on early models.
* 1976-1981 Camaro Factory radios had a slightly different radio know measurement. If running a 76-81 GM radio some trimming will be required so the radio posts will fit properly. 70-76 spacing was 6.25 inch 76-81 models radio post spacing was 5.75 inches.
This OER reproduction lower dash panel trim assembly houses the in-dash radio opening, glove box section, and air vent assembly area. It is manufactured from injection-molded ABS and designed to replicate the original lower dash panel in appearance, design, and fitment for factory-style interior restoration.
This panel is commonly needed when the original lower dash trim is cracked, brittle, warped, cut for an aftermarket radio, broken around the glove box area, damaged near the vent opening, missing mounting points, or simply too tired to survive another dashboard rebuild. It is a key lower dash component because it ties together the radio area, glove box section, and passenger-side vent area in one visible assembly.
This is a strong restoration part for Camaro owners rebuilding the lower dash, replacing damaged radio trim, correcting glove box area damage, or finishing an interior restoration on Base, Rally Sport, LT, Berlinetta, Sport Coupe, SS, or Z28 models.
