Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 1975–1981 Camaro, Firebird, and Trans Am full width front toe board repair panel, part number 153255, designed to repair the factory toe board area between the front floor pan and firewall. This stamped steel repair section spans from left to right across the vehicle, making it the correct choice when rust or damage affects the forward floor transition area on both sides.
This panel replicates the original front toe board section and includes factory-style stiffening ribs for added support. It measures approximately 8 inches tall at the center and covers the area from door to door. The black EDP coating helps protect the panel during storage, handling, and installation, though final prep, primer, seam sealer, and paint are still required during restoration.
The toe board area is a common rust point on second generation F-body cars due to cowl leaks, windshield seal failure, heater box leaks, trapped moisture, and deteriorated carpet padding. Replacing this section helps restore proper firewall-to-floor transition geometry, improves structural integrity, and provides a solid foundation when installing new floor pans or repairing the forward footwell area.
Designed for weld-in installation. Cutting, fitting, welding, seam sealing, and refinishing are required.
