Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this Year One BSF179K 17x9 Cast Aluminum Black Snowflake Wheel Kit with Center Caps and Lug Nuts for 1977-1981 Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am models. This complete wheel package delivers the classic Pontiac Snowflake appearance in a modern 17 inch wheel size, giving restoration and restomod builders a period-correct visual style with improved modern tire options.
The Snowflake wheel design is one of the most recognizable Pontiac performance styling cues from the late second generation Firebird and Trans Am era. This Year One wheel kit is designed to resemble the factory WS6-style Snowflake wheel package used on late 1970s Trans Am models while increasing wheel diameter and width for a stronger stance, broader tire selection, and improved road presence.
Each kit includes four 17x9 cast aluminum black Snowflake wheels with clear-coated gloss black painted recesses, GM authorized center caps, with your choice of either correct foil back red bird or gold bird center cap logos. Finishing the set out with 7/16-20 lug nuts. The wheels feature a 5 x 120.65mm bolt pattern, commonly referenced as 5x4.75, with 5.125 inch backspacing and a +3mm offset. This combination is popular for second generation Firebird and Trans Am builds where owners want classic Pontiac styling without staying limited to factory 15 inch tire choices.
