Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 5970782 OER 1979-1981 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta Tail Light Filler Panel Right Hand Passenger Side GM Licensed Reproduction for restoring the correct rear tail panel appearance on late second generation Camaro Berlinetta models. This right hand passenger side filler applique installs between the tail light lens and the center fuel filler door area, completing the rear lighting trim layout unique to Berlinetta models.
The Berlinetta rear lamp trim package has a more refined appearance than standard and Z28 Camaro applications, using a chrome and black center molding design to visually tie the tail lamp area together. This reproduction filler panel helps restore that factory-style finish while replacing an original panel that may be faded, cracked, warped, brittle, scratched, or missing after decades of sun exposure, rear body work, repainting, and normal aging.
For a correctly finished Berlinetta restoration, the rear lighting trim needs to look complete and balanced from side to side.
