This new reproduction instrument-panel lens replaces a scratched, cloudy, cracked or damaged gauge-cluster cover in compatible 1982-1984 Pontiac Firebird interiors. Polished clear ABS restores a cleaner view of the instruments and a finished early third-generation dashboard appearance.

- Disconnect the battery and protect the steering column and dashboard trim.
- Remove the cluster bezel and related fasteners using the factory procedure.
- Lift the original lens away without touching gauge faces.
- Clean loose dust with materials safe for instrument graphics and clear plastic.
- Position the reproduction lens without flexing or overtightening it.
- Reassemble the trim and confirm every gauge remains clearly visible.
Which Firebird cluster does this lens fit?
It is the early 1982-1984 Firebird and Trans Am instrument-panel lens.
Is it made from glass?
No. The reproduction is made from polished clear ABS plastic.
Will it fit a 1985 Firebird?
No. A separate 1985-1992 lens is listed for the later cluster design.
Can ordinary glass cleaner be used?
Use a cleaner specifically safe for clear automotive plastic and a soft microfiber cloth.
Does the lens include gauges?
No. It is the transparent protective lens for the existing instrument cluster.
