This complete interior door-handle trim kit is designed for compatible 1982-1989 Pontiac Firebird, Formula and Trans Am models equipped with power door locks and the early-style interior door-panel configuration.
The kit replaces commonly worn, faded, cracked, damaged or missing components surrounding the driver-side and passenger-side interior door handles. It combines the major trim pieces, handles, lock switches, lock sliders and armrest sleeves required to refresh both doors.
Components are supplied for both the left-hand and right-hand doors. Select the required interior color using the option provided above before adding the kit to the cart.

Complete Two-Door Restoration Kit
The kit provides matching components for the driver-side and passenger-side doors. Replacing the surrounding trim, handles, switches and lock sliders together helps create a more uniform appearance than replacing only one visibly damaged component.
Power Door-Lock Application
This kit is specifically configured for vehicles equipped with factory-style power door locks. The supplied power-lock switches use the white-letter design and install in the corresponding left-hand and right-hand trim panels.
It is not intended for vehicles equipped with manual door locks. Verify the vehicle’s lock controls and door-panel configuration before ordering.
Interior Color Selection
Select the required interior color using the product option above. Original plastic components can fade or discolor after decades of use, so newly manufactured pieces may not match aged surrounding trim exactly.

Third-generation Firebirds used more than one interior door-panel and handle-trim configuration. Do not select this kit solely by model year. Compare the shape and arrangement of the existing bezels, switches and surrounding trim with the current product photographs.
Installation Information
- Disconnect the negative battery cable before servicing electrical switches
- Document the original component positions before disassembly
- Remove the interior door panels using the proper trim tools
- Disconnect the original power-lock switch connectors carefully
- Inspect the door-handle rods, retainers and wiring connectors
- Transfer or install the replacement components in their correct positions
- Confirm that the handles and lock sliders move freely
- Reconnect the power-lock switches and test their operation
- Reinstall the door panels without overtightening the fasteners
- Confirm correct handle and lock operation before driving
Do not force plastic trim components into position. If a part does not seat correctly, verify its orientation and confirm that the door panel matches the intended application.
