Replace a missing, rusted, damaged, or deteriorated clutch fluid reservoir mounting bracket with this new reproduction designed for third-generation Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird applications.
This bracket reproduces the clutch master-cylinder reservoir mounting bracket originally used on 1984-1992 Camaro and Firebird V8 manual-transmission applications. It provides the mounting location needed to properly position the remote clutch fluid reservoir within the engine compartment.
Finished in black for an original-style appearance, the bracket is an excellent replacement when restoring a factory manual-transmission car where the original reservoir bracket has been lost, damaged, heavily rusted, or modified.
The bracket can also be used on 1982-1983 Camaro and Firebird models being converted to a hydraulic-clutch T5 or T56 manual-transmission configuration where a remote clutch master-cylinder fluid reservoir must be added.
This distinction is important: 1984-1992 represents the original-style V8 manual-transmission application, while 1982-1983 applications are associated with manual-transmission conversion installations requiring the later-style remote clutch reservoir arrangement.
