Designed exclusively for 1982-1992 Pontiac Firebird applications, the Hawks Super Duty Hood features a distinctive raised cowl design with approximately 4 inches of rear cowl height. Constructed from lightweight fiberglass, this hood arrives in a gelcoat finish and is intended to be fitted, finish sanded, primed, and painted prior to final installation. The elevated center section provides additional clearance for taller intake manifolds and Roots-style supercharger applications while delivering a unique appearance inspired by Pontiac's legendary Super Duty performance heritage.
Manufactured in the USA, this hood is designed as a direct-fit aftermarket replacement for Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, and GTA models. A screen is included with the hood; however, the opening is not pre-cut and must be trimmed by the installer if desired.
