The third brake light looks just like OEM. The only difference is that it's hard wired, and not a "plug in" replacement. I've bought 2 of these, 1 for a 1991 Trans Am convertible, and 1 for a 1989 IROC-Z. The one in the Trans Am has been installed for almost 2 years now, with zero trouble. I highly recommend this part!

I had just put car in storage so I had to check fit. It fit perfectly still have to wire it but that can wait until Spring.

I wish it had the original plug for the harness.

This light includes LEDs that glow red when energized. It is necessary to get the polarity correct or the light will not work. On my 88 Camaro, the hot yellow wire from the car had to be connected to the white lead on the light. The red wire on the light connects to the black wire from the car.
