The rear bow seal is a critical weatherstripping component located at the rear section of the convertible top assembly. Over time, original seals become brittle, flattened, cracked, or compressed from age, moisture exposure, UV damage, and repeated top cycling. Deteriorated rear bow seals commonly allow water intrusion into the rear interior area and trunk compartment while also increasing wind noise and reducing overall top sealing performance.
