This pair of Hawks Restoration Parts Ebony Black front carpet floor mats is designed for 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro interiors and features embroidered Z28 identification.
Hawks has worked with the original manufacturer that produced Camaro floor and rear deck mats available through SLP during the late 1990s and early 2000s. These newly manufactured mats recreate the fit and overall appearance of those period accessories while adding model-specific Z28 embroidery.
The two-piece package includes:
- One driver-side front floor mat
- One passenger-side front floor mat
- Ebony Black automotive carpet
- Embroidered Z28 logo on each mat
- Stitched and finished outer edges
- Carpet-gripping peg backing
Rear passenger-compartment mats and a rear hatch deck mat are not included.
Embroidered Z28 Logos
Both front mats feature embroidered Z28 identification positioned toward the outer side of the mat.
The embroidered logos provide a model-specific appearance for fourth-generation Camaro Z28 interiors. The mats also physically fit other compatible Camaro models, but installation in a Base, RS or SS should be considered a custom Z28 appearance application.
These are not Camaro SS mats and do not feature Camaro SS embroidery.
Ebony Black Carpet
Ebony Black provides a dark factory-style appearance for fourth-generation Camaro interiors. Ebony is cataloged across the 1993-2002 Camaro model-year range, but original carpet colors, shade names and interior combinations varied.
Carpet that has been exposed to sunlight, interior cleaners, wear or previous refinishing may not match newly manufactured Ebony material exactly. Screen settings and lighting can also affect how the color appears.
Compare the existing interior with a physical carpet sample when an exact color match is important.
Premium Construction
The mats feature carpet-gripping pegs molded into the backing to help reduce movement against the vehicle’s existing carpet. The perimeter has a stitched and finished edge that helps resist fraying while providing a clean, completed appearance.
These mats install over the existing molded carpet. They do not replace the vehicle’s permanent passenger-compartment carpeting.

The floor-mat pattern is intended for Chevrolet Camaro applications. These mats should not be used in Pontiac Firebird, Formula, Trans Am or Firehawk models because they feature Chevrolet Camaro Z28 identification.
Installation Information
Remove any existing removable floor mats before installing the new pair. Do not stack multiple floor mats.
Before driving:
- Place the correct mat in each footwell
- Press the mat firmly against the existing carpet
- Confirm that the backing pegs engage the carpet
- Check that the driver-side mat lies flat
- Verify full accelerator, brake and clutch-pedal movement
- Confirm that the mat cannot interfere with the pedals
- Recheck positioning after the first several drives
Clean the mats with products intended for automotive carpet. Avoid saturating the backing, and allow the mats to dry completely before reinstalling them.
This is a newly manufactured Hawks Restoration Parts reproduction. It is not used, New Old Stock or an original discontinued SLP floor-mat set.

Are rear floor mats included?
No. This listing includes the two front mats only. Rear passenger-compartment mats are not included.
Is a rear hatch deck mat included?
No. A rear hatch deck or trophy mat must be purchased separately.
Do both mats have Z28 logos?
Yes. Both front mats feature embroidered Z28 identification.
What color are the mats?
The mats are Ebony Black. Original interior colors can fade or change with age, so compare the new material with a physical sample when an exact match is required.
Will these mats fit every 1993-2002 Camaro?
They are designed for 1993-2002 Camaro front footwells and fit hardtop, T-top and convertible models. The Z28 embroidery is model-appropriate for Z28 applications and creates a custom appearance in other Camaro models.
Will they fit a Camaro convertible?
Yes. This front floor-mat pattern fits applicable 1994-2002 Camaro convertibles. Chevrolet did not offer a production fourth-generation Camaro convertible for the 1993 model year.
Will they fit a Camaro SS?
The mats physically fit compatible Camaro SS interiors, but they feature Z28 embroidery instead of Camaro SS identification.
Will they fit a Base or RS Camaro?
