Correct 1994-1996 Appearance
This version uses white indicator printing. The separate 1993 version uses yellow printing even though the later plate can physically fit some 1993 consoles.
Tall Early Boot
The included boot follows the taller early 1993-1995 style described for this reproduction. Compare the vehicle’s console and desired restoration appearance before ordering.
Important Application Notes
- Primary application is 1994-1996 Camaro with 6-speed manual transmission

- 1993 restoration should use the yellow-print HT10159082-YEL version
- Place the transmission in a safe position and set the parking brake
- Remove the shift knob and existing console plate
- Document connector and insert locations
- Compare the replacement contour and boot
- Position the boot around the shifter without twisting it
- Seat the plate evenly in the console
- Reinstall the knob and verify full shifter travel
How does this differ from the 1993 plate?
HT10159082 has white indicator printing; the year-correct 1993 version HT10159082-YEL uses yellow printing.
Is the shifter boot included?
Yes. The assembly uses the tall early-style boot described for the reproduction.
Does it work with an automatic transmission?
No. This plate is for compatible six-speed manual Camaro consoles.
