Product Description:

Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients the following.
This ACC molded replacement carpet is designed for 1994-2002 Chevrolet Camaro convertibles equipped with a factory center console. It features factory-style mass backing, a center-console split and separate jute insulation padding.
Manufactured in the USA by Auto Custom Carpets, the one-piece cut-pile carpet is heat and pressure molded using the original Camaro convertible floor-pan contours. The convertible-specific pattern follows the transmission tunnel and front and rear passenger floors.
The package includes:
- One-piece molded ACC cut-pile carpet
- Approximately 45-mil EVA mass backing
- Separate jute insulation padding
- Center-console split
- Selected carpet color
- No separate driver-side heel pad
Floor mats and trunk carpeting are not included.
Factory-Style Mass Backing
ACC’s mass backing is an approximately 45-mil-thick Ethylene Vinyl Acetate material bonded to the underside of the carpet.
Mass backing adds body and structure to the molded carpet while improving heat insulation and reducing sound transmission into the passenger compartment. It also helps the carpet retain its molded contours during installation.
The jute insulation padding is supplied separately. Install the padding before positioning the carpet so the molded material can follow the convertible floor-pan contours correctly.
Convertible-Specific Design
The fourth-generation Camaro convertible uses a different carpet pattern than hardtop and T-top coupes. This carpet is molded specifically for the convertible floor pan and includes a split for the factory center console.
The console split is not a completely finished installation opening. Additional trimming and openings for the seats, seat belts, shifter, console and related interior components must be completed during installation.

Installation Information
This carpet is premolded, but final trimming and component openings are required. Test-fit the complete carpet before making permanent cuts.
During installation:
- Remove the seats, center console, sill plates and related trim
- Remove the original carpet and clean the floor pan
- Position the separate jute insulation padding
- Center the molded carpet over the transmission tunnel
- Align the molded contours with the floor pan
- Work outward toward the doors and rear seating area
- Confirm the carpet’s position before trimming
- Cut openings gradually for the seats, seat belts, shifter and console
- Trim the outer perimeter only after the carpet is properly positioned
Do not rely solely on the removed carpet as an exact cutting template. Original carpeting can stretch, shrink or have incorrectly positioned openings from previous installation work.
This carpet is manufactured without a separate driver-side heel pad in accordance with the ACC application design.
Made in the USA.
