Product Description:

Hawks Motorsports is pleased to offer our clients the following.

This new reproduction front bumper-cover mounting bracket set is designed for compatible 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro models. The package contains both position-specific brackets required for the driver and passenger sides of the front bumper cover.

The brackets mount between the front fenders and bumper cover, helping support the flexible fascia and maintain its alignment with the adjoining body panels. They replace bent, cracked, damaged or missing originals while helping restore a secure bumper-cover fit and more consistent front-end panel gaps.

  • Position-specific left- and right-side configurations

Product Details

Complete Left- and Right-Side Pair

This set services both outer sides of the Camaro front bumper cover. The driver-side bracket installs on the left-hand or LH side, while the passenger-side bracket installs on the right-hand or RH side.

Front Bumper-Cover Support

The brackets mount between the front fenders and bumper cover. They help support the outer edges of the flexible fascia and locate the bumper cover correctly in relation to the adjoining front body panels.

Restores Bumper Alignment

Bent, cracked or missing original brackets can allow the bumper cover to sag, move, protrude or develop uneven gaps near the front fenders. Replacing both sides together helps establish a consistent mounting foundation across the front bumper-cover assembly.

Original GM References

The passenger-side or RH bracket references original GM number 10277023. The driver-side or LH bracket references original GM number 10277024. These pieces are newly manufactured reproductions and are not original GM or New Old Stock components.

Restoration and Collision-Repair Applications

This pair is suitable for front-end restoration, collision repair or bumper-cover replacement when the original side brackets are damaged, distorted or no longer present. Replacing the pair also eliminates the need to combine one serviceable bracket with an aged or weakened bracket on the opposite side.

Important Application Notes

  • Designed for compatible 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro models
  • Includes both driver-side and passenger-side brackets
  • Driver side is the left-hand or LH side
  • Passenger side is the right-hand or RH side
  • GM 10277023 corresponds to the passenger-side bracket
  • GM 10277024 corresponds to the driver-side bracket
  • Not intended for 1993-1997 Camaro models
  • Not intended for Pontiac Firebird or Trans Am models
  • Compare the bracket profiles and mounting locations with the vehicle before installation

Inspect Related Front-End Components

New brackets cannot correct collision damage or distortion elsewhere in the front body structure. Inspect the bumper cover, front fenders, surrounding supports and attachment areas for cracks, deformation or previous repairs before installing the new pair.

Installation Notes

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and switch off the ignition.
  2. Support the front bumper cover before releasing its outer attachment points.
  3. Document the positions and orientations of the original brackets.
  4. Remove the original driver- and passenger-side brackets carefully.
  5. Inspect both sides of the bumper cover and adjoining front structure.
  6. Compare each reproduction bracket with the corresponding original.
  7. Place the left- and right-side brackets in their correct positions.
  8. Position the bumper cover without forcing or distorting the fascia.
  9. Align both outer bumper-cover edges with the adjoining front fenders.
  10. Verify even panel gaps and secure bumper-cover positioning before driving.

Do not use the brackets to pull a distorted bumper cover or damaged front structure into position. Correct any underlying body damage before completing installation.
