This new reproduction alternator bracket mounting hardware is designed for the F-Body accessory-drive layout used on 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird LS1 engines.
It provides an application-specific service part for replacing damaged, missing, corroded or stripped original alternator bracket mounting hardware components while preserving factory-style accessory spacing.

F-Body Accessory Spacing
LS accessory drives are not universally interchangeable. Confirm the engine uses the 1998-2002 F-Body bracket and pulley alignment before ordering.
Component-Specific Service
This SKU supplies the bracket mounting hardware rather than the alternator bracket or complete bracket kit.
Complete Drive Inspection
Check the related accessory, pulley, belt, threaded holes and adjoining supports. Replacing one part cannot correct damage elsewhere in the system.
- Allow the engine to cool and disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Photograph the accessory-drive layout and belt routing before disassembly.
- Support or remove the affected accessory according to the factory service procedure.
- Compare the replacement component with the original and confirm the F-Body LS1 accessory spacing.
- Inspect adjoining brackets, threaded holes, pulleys and belt alignment before assembly.
- Install the component in the factory-style position and follow the applicable tightening sequence and torque specifications.
- Reinstall the belt and verify pulley alignment, clearance and free rotation.
- Reconnect the battery, start the engine and inspect the complete drive for noise, vibration or tracking problems.

Will it fit every LS swap?
No. LS accessory spacing varies; the conversion must use the compatible F-Body configuration.
