This Kooks Connection-Back Exhaust System is designed for 6.2L Camaro SS and ZL1 models equipped with Kooks long-tube headers and front connection pipes. The system includes a 3" X-pipe and 3" rear pipes that connect to the factory mufflers, allowing the factory rear mufflers and tips to remain in place.

This is the kind of setup that makes sense when you've already stepped up to long-tube headers and don't want to throw away the factory mufflers just to get the exhaust flowing properly. The 3" tubing gives the exhaust plenty of room to move from the Kooks headers back to the stock mufflers, while keeping the rear of the car looking factory. It's a straightforward way to build a larger-diameter exhaust system around the parts already on the car without replacing the entire cat-back.

The 22604181 is constructed from 304 stainless steel and uses 3" tubing throughout the connection-back section. The system replaces the factory mid/rear exhaust piping with a 3" X-pipe and rear pipes while retaining the OEM mufflers.
