Description
Elevate your 6th Gen Camaro's front suspension with UMI's 2255 Caster/Camber Plates. These premium adjustable plates allow you to dial in your alignment far beyond factory limits, achieving approximately 1.25 degrees of additional camber and 1.75 degrees of caster. Constructed from high-strength 2024 aluminum, this kit offers race-level steering precision and tire wear control. The design enables fast, track-side tuning from the engine bay with simple hand tools, eliminating the need for frustrating wheel removal.
Designed for 2016–2024 Chevrolet Camaro models, the 2255 kit features heavy-duty interference press-fit spherical bearings and 4140 steel components for maximum durability. The plates are compatible with factory struts (including Magneride), Viking coilovers, and Koni shocks. Laser-etched markings ensure repeatable adjustments, while the hard-anodized finish delivers exceptional corrosion resistance. Designed, manufactured, and rigorously track-validated at UMI Motorsports Park, this kit brings 100% Made in USA quality to your Camaro.
Product Features
- Engine bay adjustments — no wheels off
- 2024 aluminum construction
- Independent caster and camber adjustment
- Laser-etched alignment reference guides
- Viking, Koni, and factory strut compatible
- Interference press-fit spherical bearings

Product Outcomes
- Achieves aggressive alignment specs for maximum cornering grip and stability.
- Eliminates strut mount deflection for crisp, predictable steering response.
- Enables quick trackside tuning without wasting time removing wheels.
- Improves tire wear by correcting alignment on lowered 6th Gen Camaros.
Installation Summary
Overview & Difficulty: Moderate DIY install requiring standard and metric sockets, wrenches, an impact tool, and a brass hammer. Installation requires unbolting the top strut mounts and lower knuckle bolts (spin nuts only, gently tap out splined bolts). Magneride vehicles require disconnecting electrical plugs. Adjustments are made on the ground or lightly lifted using the top hex bolts. Torque lower knuckle bolts to 140 ft-lbs and top plate locknuts to 25 ft-lbs. A professional alignment is highly recommended, as front toe alignment will need to be reset any time Caster/Camber is changed.
What’s Included:
- Driver side caster/camber adjuster assembly (2255DR) ×1
- Passenger side caster/camber adjuster assembly (2255PA) ×1
- Grade 8 flanged nyloc nuts and essential hardware

Product FAQ
Quick answers
What vehicles do the UMI 2255 caster/camber plates fit?
The UMI 2255 caster/camber plates are designed for all 2016–2024 6th Gen Camaro models.
Do these plates adjust both caster and camber?
Yes. The 2255 system provides both caster and camber adjustment, offering up to 1.25 degrees of camber and 1.75 degrees of caster beyond factory limits.
Can I adjust alignment without removing the wheels?
Yes. All caster and camber changes are made directly from the engine bay using simple hand tools, making trackside tuning fast and easy. Please note that front toe alignment will need to be reset any time Caster/Camber is changed.
What materials are used to build these plates?
The main plates are CNC-machined from 2024 aluminum for a superior strength-to-weight ratio, paired with heavy-duty 4140 steel components.
Which strut options are compatible with these mounts?
The plates are designed to work with factory struts (including Magneride), as well as aftermarket Viking and Koni shock assemblies.
How do these plates improve steering feel?
The assembly uses interference press-fit spherical bearings instead of factory rubber, which eliminates deflection and sharpens steering response.
Are these plates protected against rust and corrosion?
Yes. All aluminum components are hard anodized, and all steel hardware is zinc plated to ensure a clean appearance and long life.
Have these caster/camber plates been track tested?
Absolutely. The UMI 2255 system is rigorously validated and track tested at UMI Motorsports Park to ensure it withstands heavy competitive use.
