This heavy-duty steel transmission crossmember is engineered specifically for LS engine swap applications in 1993-2002 GM F-body vehicles. Designed using CAD technology for optimal fitment and strength, it provides a clean bolt-in solution for installing a T56 or T56 Magnum manual transmission behind an LS engine while also supporting several automatic transmissions when used with the appropriate Hooker BlackHeart adapter brackets.
Finished in a durable semi-gloss black powder coat, this crossmember is an excellent choice for restoration, Pro Touring, autocross, drag racing, and street performance builds. It also serves as the foundation for Hooker BlackHeart's complete LS swap system and is compatible with optional divorced torque arm mounting components for expanded transmission choices. Adapter brackets are available separately for 4L60E, 4L80E/4L85E, TH400, and 2004R transmissions.
