Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this 973 GM 8-Rib Ribbed Tensioner Pulley, Innovators West. This 8-rib tensioner pulley is designed for compatible GM LS accessory-drive applications and provides the ribbed pulley needed for an 8-rib serpentine belt system.

When you're putting an 8-rib drive together, every pulley has to play its part. The 973 gives the tensioner the proper ribbed contact surface to keep the belt where it belongs instead of trying to make a factory 6-rib setup do work it wasn't designed for. It's a straightforward upgrade for LS builds using an 8-rib conversion, especially when you're building the whole front drive around a blower or other high-load accessory setup.

The pulley has an 8-rib profile, a 3.250-inch overall diameter, and a 3.000-inch serpentine rib diameter. It's used in multiple Innovators West GM 8-rib conversion systems, including LS truck, Trailblazer SS and Gen 5 Camaro applications.
