Hawks Motorsports offers our clients this BPMS396CTC BluePrint Engines GM Small Block Compatible 396 c.i. Engine - 530 Horsepower - Base Dressed - Carbureted. Designed for high-performance street and competition applications, this dyno-tested crate engine combines a forged rotating assembly with BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads and an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft to deliver an impressive 530 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. of torque.
Built around a BluePrint high-strength cast iron 4-bolt main block, this 396 cubic-inch small block features a forged steel crankshaft, forged 4032 pistons, forged I-beam connecting rods, and a 10.4:1 compression ratio. Fuel delivery is handled by a Holley 950 CFM double-pumper carburetor mounted to a BluePrint aluminum single-plane intake manifold for excellent high-RPM performance. The engine arrives base dressed with valve covers, distributor, timing cover, oil pan, and harmonic balancer, allowing you to complete your installation with your preferred accessory drive, water pump, flywheel/flexplate, and ignition components as required. These engines are dyno tested before shipment for verified performance.
