Unlock the true potential of your GM LS engine with the Hawks LS3 Cam Kit. This camshaft is a serious performance upgrade built for aggressive street and track applications, delivering a noticeable lope at idle and strong, continuous power as RPM climbs. Designed for all-out performance, it begins showing gains over the factory camshaft starting around 3,100 RPM, where the engine really comes alive and pulls hard through the midrange and top end.
In testing, this camshaft produced up to 93 additional horsepower over the stock LS3 camshaft, highlighting its airflow efficiency and high-RPM capability.
For automatic transmissions, a minimum 3,600 RPM stall converter is recommended for street drivability, while a 4,000+ RPM stall converter is ideal for maximum track performance and acceleration consistency.
These camshafts utilizes Texas Speed & Performance (TSP) lobe profiles engineered for high-output LS applications. The aggressive ramp rates are designed to increase valve acceleration and duration at lift, improving cylinder filling efficiency across the powerband. The result is strong gains in horsepower and torque potential, particularly in mid-to-high RPM operation where airflow demand is greatest.
